How to open origami cranes’ wings
Your origami cranes will be shipped with their wings closed to protect their wings during the transit.
Small and medium size origami cranes may be shipped with their wing open upon request. To request your small and medium origami cranes to shipped with their wings opened, please send us a message after placing your order with you order number and specify if you would like your origami cranes to be shipped in half-open shape, or fully-open shape (see the picture below).
Furthermore, two different origami crane body shape (traditional, and thick, see the pictures below). When no shape is specified during the check-out process, we will send you the traditional shape. “Thick” shape features thicker necks and tails.
How to open your origami cranes’ wings
Your origami crane can be opened into fully open position, or half-open position with ease.
To open your origami crane to half-open position, hold onto the origami crane’s right wing and the left wing with both of your hands using your thumbs and index fingers.
Keeping your index finger against the cranes, lower your thumbs to bend the wings down to open the wings without pulling them sideways.
To open your origami cranes to fully open position, gently pull the origami cranes’ wings sideways as you pull the wings open.
If your origami cranes is large ( 6” or larger), it might be helpful to brow into the origami crane from the opening which is found on the bottom of the origami crane, as you open its wings.
