Oshogatsu: A New Year’s Celebration

The event will be held on January 10th 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Graceincrease will be there with free Photo Booth with super giant origami art you can take selfies with (giant butterfly, giant paper crane, and more. Anyone want to give the frog prince a kiss? He says he will at the photo booth waiting for you). We will have a display of origami flowers, miniature origami art, and origami jewelry. You can also be the very first person to see the launch of our brand new origami jewelry piece, available for purchase at the location. And did I mention that we will have a gift card giveaway? Please let us know if you will be attending the event; we will prepare a small gift for you at my booth.

The New Year is Japan’s most important and celebrated holiday. Oshogatsu, Morikami’s traditional New Year’s Festival, offers entertainment and games, many surrounding the theme of each year’s Japanese zodiac.
