Graceincrease was born in November 2014 when a loving daughter in Nevada wanted to celebrate her mother’s 80s birthday while honoring her Japanese heritage with origami cranes.
Since I folded 400 origami cranes to honor her birthday, I experimented with various shapes and display to create the most elegant origami cranes. Through this journey, I discovered that the shape of the origami cranes that is most preferred by Japanese people are not the same as the way the rest of the world find most beautiful in origami cranes.
My name is Erika Hurst. I am a Japanese origami artist of Graceincrease.
My mission is to create breathtaking art, so you can host the most amazing event with ease, or give the most meaningful gift that you cannot find anywhere else.
